On March 16, 2021, at 5 pm, the Municipality of Loulé will organize, in partnership with the Regional Agency for Energy and Environment of the Algarve (AREAL), the Webinar on the motto “Energy Poverty in Portugal: Potential solutions”, addressed to the general public, within the scope of the Quarteira Lab project, co-financed by the Environmental Fund.

Given the current scenario of Energy Poverty in Portugal, according to data released on January 6, 2020 by Eurostat, Portugal is ranked as the fifth country in the European Union where people have the least economic conditions to keep their homes properly heated, this online action aims to be a contribution to publicize measures to combat energy poverty and improve energy efficiency in homes and the sources of financing available for the application of these measures.
